Sagoal is an organisation run and staffed by Nepali Christians and was established in 2003. Sagoal equips Nepali churches to reach out to their local communities and work with them to meet physical, social and spiritual needs. It aims to bring positive and lasting change to communities in Nepal.
Sagoal is a Nepali word that means belonging or being together, reflecting the organisation’s desire to work closely with churches and communities. The butterfly in Sagoal’s logo represents the change in thinking, attitudes and practice that it is working towards.
Sagoal also works with and through other Christian organisations and networks in Nepal to promote the principles and practice of integral mission.
